Our Sailing Yacht, the Sun Odyssey 44, is an extremely comfortable and very large boat. Easily led, it will make boat trips truly unforgettable.
Whichever formula you choose for your sailing experience, on our boat you can enjoy every moment to the full. There will be plenty of space on deck and below deck to enjoy the views, navigation and possible meals.
We have 3 double rooms and 1 room with bunk beds. The sailboat is also equipped with 2 full bathrooms with showers.
In addition to excursions and activities (aperitifs, parties and sailing courses), our sailing boat serves as an accommodation facility moored at the tourist harbour in Catania.

Our boat is a Sun Odyssey 44, a hull with a traditional construction, without the use of counter-moulds, making it a stealthy, comfortable and fast monolithic boat. The realm of mothership structures is dense and the bilge is deep enough to hold water tanks, concentrating the weights at the bottom.
The deck offers generous teak-covered side decks, an anchor locker with a winch on a shelf, and provision for a foresail. Sailing manoeuvres are both at the mast and on deck. There are two modest lockers in the cockpit.
The Sun Odyssey 44 is rightfully among the comfortable yet responsive and fast sailing yachts.
The passage over the wave is rather smooth and it is enough to lean a few degrees to reach speeds of over 7 knots, while cruising at around 6.5 knots when motoring. Manoeuvrability in harbour is good and does not require a bow thruster.
The interior is a strong point: the feeling is of being on board a very large boat (certainly among the most spacious in the category) and functional in the organisation of space.
The wood used is teak and the cabinetry is rich in solid wood and doors. Our version is equipped with no less than 4 cabins (total 8 beds) and 2 full bathrooms, each with shower. The boat also offers a comfortable lounge and fully equipped kitchen.
