Day 1<\/strong><\/p>

Meeting with the skipper at the Tourist Port of Catania, embarking and settling aboard our sailing boat. Departure is usually around 10.00 am.<\/p>

The 3-day charter tour starts with sailing to the renowned ‘Riviera dei Ciclopi’<\/b> characterised and distinguished by the medieval castle of Acicastello<\/b>. The particular building stands on a promontory whose sides are characterised by the presence of volcanic rock formations in ridges, so-called ‘lava pillows’, which we will be able to admire from a privileged position.<\/p>

We then visit the (protected) marine reserve of Acitrezza<\/b> and the Isole Ciclopi<\/b><\/a>. In both cases, there will be the possibility of sea bathing and snorkelling sessions (subject to availability of own equipment).<\/p>

Lunch will be at anchor in the beautiful bay of Capomulini<\/b><\/a>, near the lighthouse. After the meal we will enjoy some relaxation and in the afternoon the navigation continues towards Riposto, where we will dock at the Port of Etna.<\/p>

On the way, we will be able to admire the imposing cliff formed by rocks of volcanic origin called the Timpa di Acireale<\/b><\/a>. The view will be remarkable as the cliff is characterised by a mass of rocks and faults that seem to emerge from the sea, but which in reality have originated from various overlapping volcanic layers that have occurred over various epochs.<\/p>

We continue sailing towards Santa Tecla Bay<\/b>, an ideal place to enjoy a swim in the sea and possible snorkelling sessions. The sea along this beautiful stretch of coastline is characterised by rocks and coves, as well as particularly clear, blue water.<\/p>

Day 2<\/strong><\/p>

From Riposto, on the second day, we resume sailing in the direction of Taormina;<\/b> this stretch of navigation will give us the beauty of Isola Bella<\/b>, the renowned Grotta Azzurra<\/b> in Taormina, the peculiarities of the Bay of Mazzar\u00f2<\/b>, and the charming ‘Baia di Spisone’.<\/b><\/p>

There will be various opportunities for swimming<\/b>, diving<\/b> and snorkelling sessions<\/b>.<\/p>

Day 3<\/strong><\/p>

On the third day, the return voyage from Taormina to the Port of Catania will take place.<\/p>

The journey will offer moments of relaxation and admiration of the splendid panorama of the Ionian coast<\/b> north of Sicily, characterised by its volcanic rocky backdrops and clear, intensely coloured waters.<\/p>

The return voyage will also provide an opportunity\u00a0for interested and keen sailors<\/b> to put into practice the sailing knowledge\u00a0<\/b>imparted by the skipper throughout the tour.<\/p>

There will also be opportunities for open water swimming\u00a0<\/b>and snorkelling<\/b> sessions on this third day.<\/p>
